Simon is the founder and owner of Highway Assurance. Simon has more than 17 years’ experience in the Traffic Management and Highways Industry and ensures that HSEQ and competency remain at the forefront of our business.
Robert Watton
Managing Director
Robert brings over 30 years’ experience in the Surfacing and Construction Industry with a proven track record of delivering Term maintenance and Civil Engineering Projects to Local Authorities.
Dale Chenery
Business Development Director
Dale brings 16 years of experience in the Highway Industry to Highway Assurance, being involved in the delivery of major schemes for Highways England and Transport For London as well as a wealth of knowledge in the Utilities Sector .Dale has built and continues to build great working relationships with our new and existing clients.
Kevin Hadley
Commercial Director
Kevin has a proven track record of successfully managing high profile accounts . Kevin works daily with the Traffic Management and Civil engineering divisions to ensure that Highway Assurance deliver right first time .
Andrew Perkins
Contracts Manager – Traffic Management Division
Andrew provides a disciplined working ethos, and a dynamic approach to the running of the traffic management operations using his military background to deliver with every detail accounted for. Andrew also works closely with all our clients to ensure requirements are met and that Highway Assurance’s high standards are achieved .
Richard Battle
Operations Manager – Traffic Management Division
Richard has built his TM career at Highway Assurance and was quickly recognised as having excellent operational skills and now over sees the daily operational allocation of labour and plant. Richards brilliant relationship with our workforce cements his ability to get the best out of operatives .
Liam Saxby
Operations Supervisor – Traffic Management Division
Liam is one of the first members of Highway Assurance and has worked his way to become a key member of the operational team using his extensive traffic management knowledge.
Dave Watson
Works Programme Manager
Dave has used his extensive knowledge from being ‘on the tools’ to progress to our senior management position within of Civils Division. His planning and estimating skills are invaluable to our rapidly expanding workload. Dave is keen on driving efficiencies into our workforce via new methods or technology that improves our competitiveness within the marketplace.
Andrew Beck
Contracts Manager
Andrew has joined us bringing his wealth of experience in Local Authority Scheme Delivery. He has Project Managed Drainage and Civil Engineering Schemes via Main Contractors and Highway Departments for the past 20 years. His depth of knowledge will assist our team in delivering our programme of work on budget and within agreed timescales. Andrew has assisted with award winning innovation and design, that benefits not only the Environment but drives efficiencies. Andrew will always explore any options to create a niche of delivering an Environmental and Commercial project that is beneficial to Highway Assurance and Client.
Jackie Watton
Financial Administrator
Jackie brings her attention to detail in all her works activities. She assists with many of our administrative duties and ensures our ledger accounts are efficient for both clients and our supply chain.
Laura Battle
Business & Transport Assistant Highway Assurance
Laura’s organisational skills are excellent in keeping our extensive fleet in good working order and key in our day to day running of the business.

HR Assistant
Jasmine’s HR extensive knowledge ensures that all our employees wellbeing is being put first and assisting Highway Assurance in all HR legislation. Jasmine’s energy is infectious and such a wise head on young shoulders
Amanda Chittenden
Finance Manager
Amanda is our latest recruit to our management team bringing a wealth of accounting experience to our Finance Team. Amanda will oversee our accounting software that ensures that our Clients and Supply Chain are managed in a timely manner.
